Experiencing the absence of key moments like your child’s first steps, school events, or birthdays can be tough for parents. However, children are remarkably resilient, often adapting more easily than we think. Yet, for parents, the struggle lies in managing feelings of guilt over being away from their child’s everyday life.
It’s natural for very young children to feel a bit distant when a parent is away, a challenge not uncommon in jobs requiring frequent travel. Parents often grapple with a sense of remorse for disrupting their child’s routine. Fortunately, children quickly grasp the situation and eagerly await the parent’s return.
Before your child reaches an age where they comprehend better, creativity becomes essential. Packing a suitcase filled with intriguing items, sharing captivating stories and pictures from your travels, and discussing future adventures can captivate your child’s imagination. Who knows, these conversations might even spark an interest in a future career as a Cabin Crew member!
